Dreams

There are people, for whom reality is not so interesting as the world of their own reveries. On the one hand, this point of view deserves respect, as our life is really far from being ideal and all people go through moments, when they want to escape from reality somehow. On the other hand, we must take a sober view on things. It is impossible to escape from realty completely. People are social beings and can’t live without society. Those who try to do it, come to a bad end. People, who prefer to live in the world of their dreams are usually unsociable, spend too much time at home. They go for a walk seldom. They don’t have many friends, prefer virtual communication, etc. The only way for them to socialize is to enter organizations, where they can meet like-minded persons. The most widespread and large organization of this kind is tolkienists. When a person enters this organization, he/she understands that his/her life stile is appreciated by a great number of people. All of them were also withdrawn and reserved once. They go on being withdrawn with the rest of people, but in this organization they feel like a duck to water. Thus they transform their dreams from their world of dreams to the real world and make their dreams come true. In this case they socialize with a group of people, but they lose ties with the rest of society. However, we must admit that they are not concerned with this fact.
